FatMan here. This picture was taken/text written on 8/25/2007. I am now at 206 pounds. That is a total loss of 49 pounds. I have lost my age! (47 lbs)  This turned out to be a really good week. I didn't quite get to my goal of 205 lbs but I am pretty close at 206. I also have continued my workout regimen. I even jogged an entire lap around the track today. I know that sounds pretty wimpy but with my back/hip issues it was a milestone for me. I still have pain/tightness in my hip area but I haven't let it stop me from exercising. I also lost another 1.5 inches this week, which means I am tightening up. I have a white board goal of 195 pounds by 9/15/2007. That is 11 more pounds in 21 days. I will say that the pounds seem to be a LOT harder to lose now. I have a feeling these last 31 pounds are going to be TOUGH. I will tell you that I wouldn't trade how I look and feel now for very much. Worthwhile seems like a hollow word to describe how I feel now.

My main concern for next week is to get to see if I can lose 2-3 pounds and stabilize at 205 or so. Then on 9/1/2007 I will begin my push to lose down to 195 by 9/15. I might try to throw my body a diet "curve ball" this week to change things up a bit. So far so good. I think that the next 45 days will be critical to my success at losing all 80 pounds in 180 days. When I get to 195 I will start to smell the finish line. When I reach 185 it will be time for the final push. When I get to 175 it will be MAINTENANCE time.  Enough about me, what about YOU?
